PROGRAM INFORMATION
TAFE is Australia's public vocational training network: government-run centres, with around 230 institutes across the country. Courses cover the same practical fields as private VET courses and award the same qualifications, recognised nationwide. What changes is the environment: more local classmates, better-equipped campuses and, often, work placements included. TAFE is also one of the clearest paths into university, with credit for what you've already studied.
Because TAFE is public, most of your classmates are Australian. Day to day, that means far more time speaking with native speakers. And if you want a university degree later, your TAFE diploma can count as transferred credits.
Courses run from six months to two years.
The Student Visa lets you work up to 48 hours a fortnight. Unlimited during the holiday period.
IELTS 5.5-6.0 or equivalent, plus completed secondary school. If you're not there yet, there are academies with a preparatory English course.
Main intakes in February and July.

STUDENT STORIES
Before travelling, they had the same doubts you have.
One of my best discoveries in recent years. An agency that responds immediately, effective at resolving any situation, with a highly coordinated team of professionals that ensures top-quality support throughout your experience. Australia without Australian Way wouldn't have been nearly as amazing. THANKS 🫂

I had issues with my WHV in Australia and ended up moving to New Zealand, and honestly, the support has been incredible. Eduardo gives you all the confidence and the push you need to start the adventure, and it's absolutely worth it. To anyone who's on the fence, the answer is YES!

What started as a temporary experience became a profound, wonderful life change. My daughter now lives in Melbourne, has obtained Australian citizenship, and has recently been offered a place to study Medicine.

We were already at check-in, just over an hour before the flight, when they spotted an issue with the visa. We contacted them and within minutes they told us exactly what to do and had it all sorted.

They applied for my visa on July 1st and got it approved on the first try. When I arrived in Sydney, they kept supporting and guiding me throughout my entire stay.

What everyone asks us on the first call.
TAFE is the public, government system. Private VET schools are independent. The qualifications are the same and carry the same recognition. TAFE campuses tend to be bigger and better equipped, with more local classmates, work placements included and a clearer path into university. Private VET courses are usually cheaper, with more flexible start dates, almost every month. We help you see which one fits on the free call.
TAFE usually asks for a bit more than private VET courses: an English certificate (often IELTS 5.5–6.0) or an equivalent internal test, plus completed secondary education. If you're not there yet, we set up an English course first and link it to your TAFE course.
Yes, and that path is a strong reason to choose TAFE. A TAFE diploma can count as credits towards a university degree, sometimes enough to skip the first year. Not every course transfers the same way, so we map the TAFE-to-university route that fits your goal with you on the free call.
Yes. The Student Visa lets you work up to 48 hours a fortnight while term is on, with no limit during school breaks. On the call we look at how to fit work around your TAFE timetable.
