AUSTRALIAN WAY and GLOBAL WAY, brands created since 2010 and currently operating as AUSTRALIAN WAY EDUCATION PTY LTD, incorporated on November 05, 2015, with ABN 49 609 134 198, are international study abroad agencies whose mission is to provide comprehensive support to all those who wish to travel, study, and live an international experience abroad.

1. Student Responsibility

The student is solely responsible for:

  • The application, granting, validity, renewal, and compliance of their visa.

  • The accuracy of the information and documentation submitted.

  • Reviewing official communications from the Department of Home Affairs and complying with their conditions.

  • Complying with educational and legal obligations in Australia (class attendance, work limitations, conduct).

  • Entry requirements to Australia, including vaccines, certificates, and permitted items.

Australian Way Education shall not be held liable under any circumstances for:

  • Visa delays, refusals, or cancellations by the Department of Home Affairs.

  • Policies, coverage, or decisions of OSHC insurance companies.

  • Errors or omissions in the documentation provided by the student.


2. Payments and Pre-enrolment

  • Any pre-enrolment or admin fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Any payment made constitutes express acceptance of this policy.

Work and holiday visas

The company shall not be held liable for any delays, suspensions, or modifications regarding the opening of spots and/or the granting of the Work and Holiday Visa by the competent authorities.
In the event of cancellation by the applicant, and provided that the visa payment has not yet been processed, the amount corresponding to the paid visa fee will be refunded, provided that such refund is authorized by the issuing body. Under no circumstances shall management fees, processing fees, or additional contracted services be refundable.
However, in the event that the available spots for a given year are exhausted and the company has been unable to submit the visa application due to causes beyond its control, 100% of the amount paid by the customer will be refunded, including management and processing fees.

Welcome Pack

In the event of cancellation by the student, the Welcome Pack, valued at 650 AUD, will always be charged. This amount will be invoiced regardless of the timing of the cancellation and shall not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances, as it corresponds to services and products already managed by the agency.

Additional Notes

  • All our refund policies are subject to the refund policies of each specific institution.

  • Refunds will be processed within a minimum period of 60 days from their approval.


4. Medical Insurance (OSHC)

  • It is mandatory to take out an OSHC policy covering the entire duration of the visa.

  • Australian Way Education can process the insurance, but shall not be held liable for its conditions, limitations, or cancellations.

  • For couples and families, it is mandatory to take out specific policies. Even if Home Affairs accepts two individual medical insurance policies for couples, the insurance companies may not cover the non-studying partner, and therefore, may not refund the insurance in case of cancellation.

  • Under no circumstances shall Australian Way Education be held liable for lack of coverage, medical exclusions, or limitations imposed by the insurance providers.


5. Modification of Dates

  • Before the visa is processed, the student may modify the start dates once at no additional cost.

  • Additional modifications will incur a fee of 300 AUD each.

  • Once the visa has been approved, the start and end dates of the course cannot be modified (as they are tied to the visa).

  • In exceptional cases of force majeure, the start of the course may be postponed at a cost of 300 AUD, but the visa dates will never be altered.


6. Arrival in Australia

  • Once the student has arrived in Australia, there shall be no right to any refund, even if the course has not yet commenced. no existirá derecho a reembolso alguno, aunque el curso no haya comenzado.

📌 Important Update – Cancellation and Academic Changes Policy

As of March 31, 2026,students with active student visa will not be permitted to change schools or education providers during the validity of their visa.

This measure is implemented as part of the new immigration and academic controls in Australia, aiming to ensure curriculum consistency, compliance with visa conditions, and the integrity of the educational system.

  • No changes of educational institution will be permitted while the visa is active.

  • No lateral course, level, or provider changeswill be permitted under the same visa.

  • No simultaneous enrolments or concurrent CoEs will be permitted..

  • Any academic change may only be carried out after the completion of the primary course and upon obtaining a new visa. y la obtención de un nuevo visado.

These measures aim to:

  • Prevent course hopping (frequent switching of courses or schools).

  • Prevent misuse of the student visa.

  • Protect the student's academic and immigration stability.

  • Reduce the risks of cancellations, refusals, and immigration issues.
