PROGRAM INFORMATION
Ireland is one of the few EU countries where English is spoken, and that changes everything. With an EU passport you don't need a visa or a work permit to study and work there. If you're from outside the EU, you get English immersion inside Europe and, on a long course, you can work part-time. Schools are accredited under Ireland's ACELS and ILEP standards, and courses run from a few weeks to a full academic year.
The long course is how most students experience Ireland: about 25 weeks of classes within an eight-month permission. With an EU passport you work the whole time, no cap. From outside the EU you can work 20 hours a week during term and full-time during holidays. Either way, the wage helps you cover rent and expenses while you study.

Yes. Once you're in Ireland on the permit that lets you work, you can renew your academic year course at a lower price than the initial enrolment, up to a maximum of 2 years studying English. After that, the legal way to stay on is to step up to a Higher Education programme.
